My Precioussss
A few years ago…OK maybe not that long. 1 or 2 years back perhaps if I remembered correctly; I bought a One-true-love a pair of ring for Valentine Day. If I still remembered correctly, the pair of ring cost around $60. Perhaps right now $60 is not very expensive, I still can afford it but during that time I was still an unemployed polytechnic student so in a sense it burned a huge hole in my pocket. Being a "filthy poor bastard" gentlemen, I didn’t voice out anything because after all, One-true-love was my everything during that time.
Fast forward to the present; you may ask why I decided to post this topic out of the sudden. Let me answer you this question. It is because while I was doing my area cleaning in my room, I discovered to my horror…THE RING IS MISSING! I searched high and low for it but still the ring refuse to recognize it owner and continue to play hide and seek with me. Nah Beh Chow Barney. Wait till I lost my temper and take it to the pawn shop to redeem some $$ then the ring know what is the real meaning of END OF WORLD. (Kidding Of Coz) Or maybe perhaps I sensed a conspiracy. GOLLUM, the character from Lord of the Ring has mistaken for my ring as his “1 ring to rule them all” ring. Dammit..wait till I find him and skin his backside then he know when to stop hissing “ My Preciousssss”
Anyway, today also mark the end of my break. Tomorrow I will be reporting to Tuas Naval Base for my on-job-training. Another new environment, another group of people to adapt to. I hope everything will turn out fine.
