Sick And Tired

Sometimes it’s very frustrating when you know you are clearly ill but there is just not enough time for you to rest till you recovered. Sometimes it’s get even worse when others don’t understand and said you are skiving, be it in a joking manner or such.
I think for once, the illness I am currently having now is difficult to battle against with. The sore throat refused to recover. My head feel dizzy. My body feels weak and tired. And it doesn’t really help when my schedule required me to do duty for 1 full day and rest the next. I have been hoping this week can pass quickly so I can rest and recover during my standby week. However, I know I cannot be a hero; neither do I want to be a hero. I know my physical condition too well that if I continue doing duty; there will be a likelihood of me 1) fainting given my weak condition 2) passing the germs around and infecting everyone in the guardhouse. 3) Coughing the night away and disturbing others who are having their rest.
“Treat others the way others would like to treat you”
I hate people who comment “Chao Keng” when they learnt I got a MC after visiting the doctor. I doubt they know a single fcuk what is happening. I appreciated others who told me to take care and rest more. Am I really that type of person who pull stunt often at the last minutes? Nope, I myself don’t personally think so. Perhaps when I recovered from my illness I shall double my effort to get things done to show others I am not that type who disappear when the going gets tough. Don’t take me for granted just because I’m friendly and approachable to everyone. I have a temper too but I hate to lose it over a nonsensical remark.
I hope I can recover soon after these 2 days of rest.
