You may fail to believe it but my heart feels for Ruan Mian Mian when she gave herself up in the 3 way relationship with Dadi and Hua Jie. (I watched Portrait of a Home solely because of Jessica Liu btw)It’s kind of sad when they obviously like each other but Dadi have to marry Hua Jie not because of love but obligation. And that leaves our Ruan Mian Mian struggling to assert her own feeling as well as bearing in mind the happiness of Dadi-ge.
Somehow, I got a feeling Dadi and Hua Jie will not get to wed eventually. Wanna bet on it?
Nobody should ever miss out this movie during December. Nobody.
