Why Are You Here?

I went on a house-visiting trip to my secondary school form teacher apartment together with my batch boys and some of the girls yesterday. And it never fails to amaze me that my teacher actually remembers the name of every single one of us. Btw, this is also my first house-visiting trip since the start of the New Year 7 days ago. The rest of the time is actually spending doing duty, to be exact or resting.

And mind you, we graduated from secondary school in 2000 and that make it 6 in a row consecutive visit once a year, same period of time to be exact. And of course, she did welcome us with open arms, showing genuine concern and interest in what we are currently doing and such so I guessed the relationship between us and her obviously run quite deep to a certain extent. Special credit must also be given to the organizer for his/her time and effort to contact some of the long lost friends.

And of course, remaining true to our tradition, we gambled at our teacher house. I was on a lucky streak during the booming period ( I got 3 cards of 7 to make it 21. 7 times PAYOUT Lol ) but unfortunately depression era came in and I lost all my winning and were reduced to minor losses. Such a pity. KNNBCCB, make me happy for nothing. But then the amount is small, the company was great so it’s all add up the same.

Sometimes, there are relationship that are meant to last, that are meant to be value while there are always other who don’t deserve your precious time and effort to maintain. It remain a difficult task to decide which is which and will always remain so until someday the truth is out but then you realize it’s too late to do anything to remedy the situation.

So my advice is, the friendship between 2 souls didn’t come by chance, don’t let a moment of madness ruin the entire magic we have together.
