the journey over there took roughly an hour because we plan the route the night before.
the drive was great, I was the one driving the car so I didn't really see much of the scenery because I need to concentrate on the road. We went to sea world on the first day, wandered off to a path which lead to a light house. Very nice scenery with huge waves and surfers tackling them amid in the very cold and strong wind. Took a couple of nice pictures because it was nearing sunset when we were there.
At night we wandered around the town of gold coast and by a stroke of luck the council of gold coast were holding a concert by the beach. The singing band were from Sweden and they were entertaining the crowds with ABBA song. The best part is, they were shooting off fireworks right off the beach so we have a fireworks festival right at the beach itself without the usual crowd you will normally see in Singapore whenever there are any fireworks event..nice!
Today we went to Moreton bay. Nice scenery, wonderful weather, funny guide, good company. We were also lucky to spot sea turtles, a couple of whales, a black wild boar,dolphins,an eagle and did sand boarding with your mouth full of sands when you get to the bottom.
