Get A Life!
The weekend for this week is pretty boring. All my buddies were busy with their live firing session and field camp and so what was left are only: Me, Darren and Professor Xu. And as an attempt to find out what is the latest gadget in town, we went to Sim Lim square to look look see see. Darren bought a Creative 5.1 sound card which is pretty outdated but it suited his computer just fine. Sorry Darren! Then we went to eat the Laksa stall outside the OG side entrance. To my disappointment, the taste was below average since it proclaimed itself to be Katong Laksa. The serving was small but it cost $3. Finally I got a chance to play pool after many weeks of begging, threatening and coddling. And so I played to my heart content, games after games till Darren lost his frequency and start giving up even before the game started. Professor Xu don’t play pool so he sit there rotting, till he found his calling and made his way to play CS. Went eat BK at cine and proceed our way to enlighten ourselves at borders. Now what fascinated me was, though it was pretty late in the night 11pm to be exact, there is still quite a crowd at borders getting his/her hand on any book that catches their eyes. And me being a regular reader, I indulged myself in the magazine and thriller section burying my head into Maxim, FHM, Newman, Shoot (What do ya expect? Life is all about pretty babes and soccer!) and of course my favourite author John Grisham latest book “The Last Juror”.Maybe I have just found another hangout for weekend! Seriously, I think I need to get a life sooner or later..
