There is this cheese prata shop in west coast area near NUS called NIQQI THE CHEESE PRATA SHOP which served delicious cheese prata. I think this is not a very BIG piece of news since I guessed almost all my friends know of its existence. I was introduced to this eatery by my friend in 2002 where we held our NYAA expedition at West Coast Park nearby. It was pretty late... Macdonald and Mac café were not there during that time and we were starving badly so we walked from West Coast Park to NIQQI THE CHEESE PRATA SHOP and indulged ourselves with delicious cheese prata and teh peng.
Ever since then, Ive been making regular visit to the cheese prata shop to get my regular fix of delicious cheese prata. I patronized the shop with my poly friends and brudders. I patronized the shop with One True Love in the past. I patronized the shop with my army buddies. And everytime I patronized the shop its always the same old order. Uncle 1 Cheese and 1 Koh Sung (meaning plain) + 1 teh peng ( Ice-tea).. whether its windy or rainy outside. ( Feng Yu Bu Gai ).
And so yesterday I patronized the cheese prata shop with my brudders again and you will never be able to guess who I saw. To my surprise, a lady whom I considered very pretty and Singaporean who considered her a rising young star was sitting less than 5M across my table eating prata. She is none other than Joanne Peh. At first I wasnt sure whether it was her. I said to my friend: eh that table the lady very pretty lei. She looks like Joanne Peh. His reply: Eh you gun do ar? She is Joanne Peh la.. The one who act in the NKF drama serial loh. I must admit she indeed have that X factor personality. I think she will be able to go far..perhaps maybe even further than Fann Wong if luck permits.
