becoz, I'm supposed to be address by my niece as "uncle" already!
and it's quite funny because I didn't really notice about my niece except I know she exist. I know it's bad to say it but perhaps it's due to lack of time, effort and distance but today seems to be a nice day to catch up with my big auntie family and it is actually very heartwarming to see my female elder cousins coming home 1 by 1 with their son and daughters in tow.
And suddenly I'm no more the younger cousin they had or rather I had in mind but I'm actually an uncle and more able to relate to my elder cousins. The generation gap shortens to merely a few years and it's no longer a one sided affair of "I am older than you so I must take care of you" but rather "I have grown up and we show care and concern to each other" because we are a family to begin with.
It is actually a funny feeling with so many female elder cousin fussing over me over the dinner telling me to eat more don't be embaressed, make yourself as home etc even though I have not visit them for a very long time.
And did i mention my niece is really very cute/pretty that she can be a child model. Pity I forgot to take a pic of her with my hp. btw, her name is Yin Xuan.
Darts, not another "yin/ying"! hahaha
