I am happy today...
because I played my 1st bball game for this week.
And I'm satisfied with my performance for today game.
Perhaps its an inspiration to play well, after watching NTU bball team lost to Yew Tee CSC on Saturday night. But Yew Tee CSC is really a very strong team, or else they are not 2 years consecutive champions for nothing.

because I got a new watch, courtesy of my sister buying a LG secret phone from M1.
They gave away a free kenneth cole reaction watch
which is apparently worth US$175 on the internet.
If they are anything that make me go weak in the knees, they are watches, cars and of coz pretty ladies..hahaha.

Yesterday I felt restless...
because on friday we had a gathering and 1 topic that was raised touched a nerve in my heart.

So the gers start off first by saying they will marry their loves one blah blah blah...
and I suddenly realize that I have not really found someone I really like for my entire 24 years of existence on the face of this world. I have not find 'the one' whom I can give up everything to die for. It maybe foolish because more often or not you don't exactly marry the person you like most at the end of the day, and this thinking coming from me, a guy who feel restless when things become monotonous and routine, who is a tad scared of commitment is funny to begin with.
Perhaps, what I really want to to experience an all out 'hong hong lie lie' love relationship so I can tell myself I didn't really live my life in vain. See, it's about me again. I am still selfish and thinking about myself only. But you can't really blame me thou. I have been single for a really long time anyway.
But saying so much, it's really beyond my control because feelings cannot be produced artifically and hence there are really no point to really make a herculean effort to search for your 'the one'.
What one can really do is to open up and widen one social circle, make more friends and who know eureka 1 fine day, you might really meet your 'the one' at the end of the day under the coconut tree by the seaside at Ibiza, Spain saying: ' where the hell have you been all these while?' hahaha

I saw an orphan who lose both of his parents to illness,
got transfer to an orphanage run by singaporean in cambodia.
It is good news for him,
for he will be well taken care of and received education as well
except when I saw he went to retrieve his belongings because the car is here...
all he had with him was a plastic bag only slightly bigger than the typical NTUC bag.
The items inside his plastic bag contains all his worldly possession.
And it make me reconsider what is really a 'need' and what is really a 'want' again.

Very simple but comical. I tink the Durex marketing team did a great job to commemorate Father Day based on this ad.
I am offered the choice of double specialization for my business course. A little bit of dilemma because I'm quite interested in marketing but my 1st specialization is actually banking and finance. So with the opportunity to double spec, I can have the best of both world.
But hearing from seniors and frens, the timetable might be difficult to plan, the workload might be a little tad heavy and it will affect my plan to finish my core modules in 2.5 years. After all I'm already quite old in a sense and the earlier I finish, the faster I can start earning my first salary.
However, my cousin also mentioned something that make sense. University is already the 'last' stage of education and it might do no harm to learn more skills that might come useful in future.
I think I might already made up my decision but still feeling a bit unsure.
Exam is finally over. Finally a real break for this vacation. Unfortunately there are still FOC matters to attend to. I am still hoping to go overseas at some point of time. Still hoping a miracle will appear.

On Tuesday, met up with my long time hyper orientation group fren. She jio pool so I obliged. It's always fun hanging around with her. She don't really get angry with the amount of teasing I always had for her. Perhaps she has always known me for being humorous. I liked hanging around with her. It's funny that we seldom really meet up during the last 2 years but the friendship is good. Haha
Time passed by so quickly.
Special term is almost over. I'll be having my paper on next week Thur. Therefore, Mugging time have start again unfortunately. I am trying to gun down a A grade for this paper but often when expectation become too high, the result often go against it. And perhaps that is why I'm feel a little bit unsettled.
Results is out. I am fairly satisfied with it, though I feel I can get more 'A' as well Hahaha. There is improvement from last semester. Finally the hard work has been paid off.
Otherwise there is nothing much to update. I guessed I'll be pretty free after the paper so if there is any short term lobang to intro please gimme a call. I need the moolah to upgrade my wardrobe next semester so that I can woo for pretty gers haha
Just now while I was viewing the Singapore lions vs Uzbek, I was amazed when I saw Uzbek leading 1-0 after 15 mins.
Singapore equalized by a fine goal but its defence let the team down with a soft goal conceded again making it 2-1
A fine cross and a mazy run earn Singapore a penalty. Woah Singapore attacking play seems powerful! The penalty was converted and 2-2 after 30 mins.
Following then however was a series of self destructions that seems to make everyone wonder on the scene at the national stadium or those viewing the match on TV,
What EXACTLY HAPPENED TO THE SINGAPORE DEFENCE?
It stunned me to see that the Uzbek were adapting to the humity better than the entire Singapore defence. Uzbek wingers were literally outpacing the left back and the right back. It make the Singapore wing-back look painfully slow while they tried to catch up with the opposition. The central defenders fared the worst. Time and time again, they let the team down with amateurish and lousy defending. So much for the hard work of the front men. Everytime they managed to equalize, the defence will concede a goal in less than 5 mins.
I think when the score is 4-2 the entire defence literally decided to stop playing football and watch the game. It may be easy to criticize in front of TV. Everyone know that.
BUT it is definitely NOT RIGHT when you are representing Singapore and wearing the Singapore jersey, with at least 10,000 people at the national stadium cheering you on...
AND YOU DECIDE TO STOP FIGHTING AND KEEP MAKING MISTAKES AFTER MISTAKES, CONCEDING SOFT GOALS, MAKING HALF HEARTED ATTEMPTS TO STOP THE ATTACK AND LEFT YOUR GOALKEEPER EXPOSED WITH EVERY OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE UNTIL HE LOST FAITH IN HIS DEFENCE AND CONCEDE THE CORNER WHICH RESULT IN A GOAL.
EVEN WITH 5 PLAYERS DEFENDING THE FORT WITH ONLY 3 Uzbeks players attacking, when the Uzbek player was left empty and prepare to shoot the ball towards goal, the 5 SINGAPORE PLAYERS LITERALLY STOOD AND WATCH WITHOUT ANY ATTEMPTS TO DEFLECT OR BLOCK THE BALL WITH THEIR BODIES, SIMPLY LEAVING THEIR GOALKEEPER TO DO ALL THE WORK TO PREVENT THE GOAL.
