Wake Up Your Ideas Lei!
Standby/Rest week is here again. Unfortunately I have to mount duty from 8-5 tomorrow and 1 full duty from Wed to Thur. But the best thing is often save for the last. I will be taking off on Friday (too many off must clear u see?) and that make it a long weekend this coming week. (Provided nothing went wrong of course)
Just when in the previous post I emphasized young teenager nowadays need more discipline to keep them out of trouble…this is what happened just now while I was downstairs my block playing basketball.
A bunch of kids ( maybe around 14-15 ) walked past the basketball court, arms swinging widely, with their hands holding spanners and iron pipes apparently going to find their enemies spoiling for a fight. I looked at them, cursed them “Stupid Idiot” yet blessed them because I knew they are going to be in deep deep shit later on.
Because you see, my friend who is playing basketball too is a very Garang Regular Policeman and he couldn’t take this lying down. Therefore, he took along his warrant card, ran towards their direction and shouted them to stop. Those Charlie Brown kids upon hearing someone shouting at them immediately dropped their weapons and scattered around in all direction.
Wat the Fcuk! My friend didn’t even shout the word “POLICE” yet they back off immediately. To think that just moment ago, the head of the gang was walking so Lao Lan. Anyway, the scene was very comical because all the kids involved were rounded up by the police and they were as meek as a pussy cat.
Good luck to those who carried the weapons. Be prepared to spend your time in the Boy Home in near future. Who knows, it might do you some good.
