Rain Rain Go Away
Yesterday morning downpour was a killer. Never before I gotten myself so wet while on duty. Even though I was under a small miserable shelter wearing a gortex jacket, it was still not enough against the big strong powerful rain. My pant, socks, shoes, jockey cap got soak in rainwater but luckily I was tall enough to prevent my underwear from getting wet as well. Imagine the whole day walking around in moist underwear until you dismount before you are able to change. The thought of it send goose bumps down my neck.
Got splashed in the face with rainwater by the windscreen wiper when I was standing on the side of the driver window checking pass. I got damn piss off and look inside the driver seat. In the end I could only managed a sheepish grin because the driver turned out to be a young nice looking lady smiling at my predicament. KNN, his men are right there doing his duty in the fcuking heavy rain and he doesn’t know how to say a word of encouragement…only know how to smile like a COCK. What on earth have I done to deserve this?
On the other hand, I might be able to play basketball/soccer tomorrow morning with my platoon. At least there's something fun to look forward to if it indeed materialise into something real.
