Upon recommendation from Desmond, personals from Class 24 spent $9.50 on their first R-21 show on 2335hrs 10 Dec 2005 at Plaza Singapura viewing “A History of Violence”

According to Desmond who rejected the show “Perhaps Love” outright and chooses a "A History of Violence", the reason was simply because he read somewhere in the newspaper “A History of Violence” received a rating of 5 stars.

Collaborating together with Desmond effort is Jy, who insists on sparing a thought for our dear friend with regards to the sensitive content the movie “Perhaps Love” might portray.

Questions has been raised by the majority how could Class 24 fell through the safety net when all measures has been in place, especially after consulting Alex who checked the movie background on Yahoo Movies and saw the rating of A- for the movie “A History of Violence” but yet still strongly suggest we might be better off viewing “Perhaps Love”.

The movie has a slow build-up with the director taking time to concentrate on the performer’s expression rather than glorifying the violence inside the movie. The guys has a rather indifference view with regards to the violence portray. It was not really deem as excessive. Some in fact commented it as boring But apparently, it was a totally different story for the ladies.

Witnesses reported they saw a lady suspected to be Sy curling up in her seats with her arms raised across her eyes when the baddie body was left exposed with a huge gaping hole when shot behind by a shotgun as well as many other gun scenes. Gods know when she will put down her arms to continue viewing the movie until a voice was heard among the seat:” eh, the guy dies liao..”

A heated discussion was seen by passer-by outside the movie theatre between several guys among the group with Desmond attempting to challenge Alex to watch “Perhaps Love” at 0200 hrs to clarify which show actually sucks the most.

Luckily for all, common sense prevails and everyone went for supper at Jalan Besar a happy soul.
