Don't Want Grow Up

They are my sunshine...my only sunshine

For those who had watched the Ren Ci charity show and donated money to the event, I saluted you for your generosity. In fact, I sincerely hope I could have donated more instead of just a small miserly 5 bucks but then again I don’t have much money to spare for myself either. As what the artists kept on stressing, it is all about volunteerism to raise fund for the needy and helpless. They are not manipulated or force against their wishes to perform those awesome acrobatics which I think it certainty required lot of time and effort to carry it off.

At the end of the day, it should not be the patients to carry the burden of the mistake of 1 person (You know who I am referring to don’t you?)

The fact is, I’ve been donating to the NKF ever since during my time in polytechnic. Every month without fail, $3 from my account will be deducted to go towards NKF effort to help the patients. Of course I am disappointed to learn that only $0.10 out of a dollar will actually goes towards the needy but that was the past. Despite my mother advice to terminate the donation immediately, I said $3 per month is only equivalent to a single meal a day and if I could just settled a single meal with instant noodle for that particular day, I see no reason why I couldn’t afford the monthly donation. After all, the needy are going to need the fund not for a short period of time but his/her entire life.

Therefore, based on my own individual theory above, I lead by example haha and called the hotline while watching the show in the recreation room together with the new bird. And beside, S.H.E charm is just too irresistible although their dresses are just plain ugly. Their synchronization of their harmonious voice is still the best in the business though. Even if I got teased constantly by the new birds every time S.H.E appeared on the show (KNN), nevertheless I kept urging them to make at least 1 call to support the event. And indeed I got a little surprised when one of them actually took out his phone and donated $15. The power of motivation and a little bit of psychology. Hehe. I think I can make a good motivator lol.

Having said these much, my message across to all is, please don’t go on a witch hunt and condemn all charity organization entirely. Beside, if you have the ability to make a difference to someone life whether be it money or effort, please continue to do so. Thank You.

P/s: I had initially thought of including in this post what we had done to Tok Cock Hui during the night but it's too long. I included that in the next post perhaps.
