In a Blink Of Your Eyes

In a blink of an eye, October is ending soon and November is coming.

In a blink of an eye, autumn is ending and winter is approaching.

In a blink of an eye, 9 more months of ORD.

And if you observe the weather nowadays, you might have notice the temperature has became cooler with more rainy days every now and then.

And you might have observe, it is getting more and more difficult to climb out of your bed every morning when the weather is so conducive for sleeping.

And to think I used to hate the rainy season in the past simply the reason because the ground will be wet and I will not be able to play basketball with my group of basketball khakis.

However, upon growing up, I have learn to appreciate the finer points of what the rainy season can bring to us ( no it’s not about whether Mio is going to come back to visit her husband and son during the rainy season in Be With You )…amid the hot and humid season for the past ¾ of the year.

Because you see, in our line of work, we are at the mercy of the weather 24/7. Come rain or shine, we are and will always be there to keep watch on the base.

I was left amused by this paragraph taken from cowboycaleb.liquidblade.com

“It was then that I rose to the occasion and told everybody not to worry for there was no frigging way the world could end on a Tuesday. Nothing ever happens on a Tuesday. Nothing. Nada. No life-changing event shite could possibly take place on the most boring day of the week. Tuesday, is the bastard child of an affair between Monday and Wednesday that took place behind the back of Sunday.”

How could anyone have use such a funny analogy for Tuesday? And to think on alternate week Tuesday is UEFA Champion League Day. (Ok…it is Wednesday morning to be fair)
