Bonus!

If only her stare can kill, you'll already dead a thousand times.Above is Kou Shibasaki.

For those who are not keeping abreast with the new Singapore budget, there is this good piece of news for those who are currently serving their nation.

As from 1st May 2006, $100 will be appearing in your bank account. Not to worry, this is definitely not someone who accidentally deposits their money into another wrong account incident but actually a reward from the Government of Singapore for all the hard work, sweat, blood, effort, Sai Kang, Arrowing, confinement, extras and holidays sacrifices because of the nation interest before self.

But before you get too happy, this is only a one time payment. Another $300 will go into your bank account again after you ORD.

For a poor soldier like me, this is a welcome news for it means I can set aside apart of my saving to travel overseas without worrying the additional burden it might bring to my savings preparing for the start of varsity life in August.

If you are wondering why the amount is set at $400, it is because it is the nation 40th birthday as counted from last national day. It’s true. If you don’t believe me, go read newspaper lol. I wondered what will happen if it is the national 50th birthday…does it mean we get $500 instead. Hehe

Today while I was channel surfing, I came across a Japanese drama “Good Luck” on Channel U at 1700hrs. It’s quite a nice show about aviation work as well as the people working in it. Pilots, air-stewardess, maintenance crew etc on how they perform to their best of ability to serve the air passenger whole-hearty. You can also sneak a peek to witness a Boeing 777 soars up the skies, bringing along the hope, happiness, despair, and unhappiness of the passengers onboard. I like Japanese drama. As I stated before, the serial drama may only contain 15 episodes but every single episode contains good quality production. It also doesn’t harm to know that the actresses are pretty too. Keke.

Look at what TCS is doing to our Singapore Channel 8 drama scene? 7 pm golden time slot are now showing foreign production. 9pm golden timeslot also show foreign production. Where the fuck did all the Singapore actor, actress, producer, director disappear into? KNN. Then why the heck people still SMS to support their favourite actors or actresses during the Annual Star Award if they are being relegate to the bottom? Goodness, I didn’t know outsourcing actually creeps into the TV industry as well.
