Good As Gold, Around The World
Just like what everyone is waiting in anticipation come 1st November for the latest Jay Chou Album “November’s Chopin”, there is no harm to look back on his first album titled simply as “Jay” and discovered how much the difference were when you listen to it when you are younger then and currently when you are entering into adulthood.
Call me a sentimental, old, traditional fool but I still believe sometimes, old is still considered as gold.
A simple example may be a case of Sun Yanzi. Her first few albums were so outstanding and she is having a little hard time trying to emulate the success on the subsequent few albums. Nevertheless she is a good singer (of course she doesn’t become a bad singer overnight) but occasionally I scrolled through my songs collection specially just to listen to her “old” songs.
Keep a lookout on the new MTV for one of the songs in November Chopin though. It features Zhou Xun. (In case you don’t know anything about her, she is the lady who is playing the role of Rong Er in the Channel U serial Legend of Condor Hero) I always wonder whether her voice is as deep as whom she sounds like on TV. And yes of course I knew the MTV confirm chop + guarantee don’t feature her voice at all. This is just a side talk btw.
Baby~
P/S: KNN next week I kena duty for both holidays. Got so suay anot?
